But first, let me tell you a little about "Chasseur." She is soft in a Chesapeake chop with enough waterline to maintain forward movement on a close reach without being tossed. She is a stiff sailor. It takes 20 knots+ to put her rail in the water. This Alan Payne design is true to his reputation.

Chasseur is a very comfortable sloop with live aboard space below decks. There is even a vanity in the forward cabin. This is not a light, tender, go fast design that will require your attention constantly. Don't plan on racing her except in her own class. Then she will please you with her performance.

She comes equipped with jib furling, auto pilot, marine radio, hand held Garmin GPS, pressure water, double galley, Cruisair air conditioning, 3-burner alcohol stove with oven, two anchors, and depth sounder.

The price for this excellent sloop is set firm at $25,000. I've taken the discounts up front. As you can see below that price is below the BoatUS estimate. The reason for this sale is that I am simply getting too old to handle her, and plan to downsize.
